Where Flowers Bloom So Does Hope

This sequence is to reveal the development of flowers blooming, they glow as they evolve.

Did you see the potential? Yes, everything has its potential.

A book, a relationship, YOURSELF, and each one of us.

Please be patient and consistent, give it time,

even in a closed book there are flowers growing out.

鲸 - Whale Tail

In the next life, if I could choose, I’d like to be a whale in the pacific ocean. The whale who knows how to love has compassion and freedom.

I want to be free from my own downward spiral thoughts. Freedom from judgments of any kind, from the confine of unnecessary rules or redundant traditions that are harmful to the soul.

This Whale in the image has a life swimming freely, and I want the same.

Why Artichoke? You might ask.

The reason is that my friend likes to eat Artichoke. I never had this vegetable while I grew up in China, so I didn’t understand his love for it until he bought me artichoke pizza. Currently, he is in Southeast Asia, and I miss him. So, artichoke.

Now, for me, artichoke becomes a token of love and friendship. When I have it, I could think of a person.

“In Chinese culture, plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum symbolize the four gentlemen of the flowers.”

And this Orchid is what I would usually paint when I was learning Chinese painting* as a kid.

*(which is similar to watercolor but not exactly.)

#me too

If you see closely enough at the peony, you would spot that there is some script on the petal. They are book pages from Margaret Atwood’s Bodily Harm. Aside from being beautiful, there are a lot more about flowers that make them valuable, and so do women. Do you want to see what the script is on the petal? Go learn more about the lives of the women around you. Your mother or your partner, you might find out something that you would never bother to think of, but they have to deal with for being women.

God’s Gift

Hey, even though it only takes $1 from your pocket for a bottle of Poland Spring, it still should be treasured, for water is not only what we need to survive on, but also GOD’S GIFT.
